The seed-holder

Our original seed-holder is from the top to bottom:
- A 2 cm diameter collar designed with a small
handle for hanging the seed-holder on the cover and to facilitate
manipulation of the seed-holder.
- A tubular body filled with agar and which dips
into the nutrient solution, providing a soft interface
between the seed and the solution.
- A cross-shaped extension of the tubular part
which guides the root towards the solution.
The individual seed-holders allow to move each plant at any time from
seed sowing to seed set.
The low nutrient concentration and the reduced humidity at the seed
level prevent algale growth and seed worsening.
