The containers can be assembled together "in lanes".
The assembled units can be further inter-connected with provided
"connection-kit" to insure that the whole network can be filled or
emptied in a single operation.
Overflows insure that the seed-holders are correctly dipping into the
solution and the plants are protected against flooding.
Araponics can be used as a
"closed system", the nutrient solution being changed from time to time,
or as an "open system" if connected to pumping and water quality
control devices.
One single container can support growth of 18 plants. When fit
together, the system allows to grow around 360 plants/m².
Each container can be labbeled individually. It is made of black
plastic to avoid algal propagation. |
